Writing about London

London is a city in the south of England. In Roman times London was called Londinium and there was a population of about 45.000. The population now is about 7,5 million.

There are places in London with the names of important people in history. For example Trafalgar Square (Battle of Trafalgar), Victoria street (queen Victoria)...
The people of London are called Londoners or "Cockneis".

Famous Londoners include Conan Doyle and Charlie Chaplinn.
Charlie Chaplin was an actor and Arthur Conan Doyle was a writer
